Good Dog Training Camp

Liberty K9 camp graduates will learn to:
Come when you call, on or off leash
Sit or down when asked and wait
Go to a place and stay there
Walk nicely next to you
Pay attention to you when you ask
Happily respect you as a pack leader

Liberty K9 camp also addresses common behavior problems such as:
Jumping on people
Charging through doors
Getting on off-limits furniture
Stealing food and objects off counters and tables
Being wild or uncontrollable

Special features:

Training in real-life settings so your dog actually learns to behave everywhere, not just in a kennel or a training room.

Frequent field trips to parks, shopping centers, and DC to expose our campers to similar situations that they will encounter on a daily basis.

Optional sessions with our K9 Staff and fellow campers for exercise and help with proper socialization techniques.

Access to a dog treadmill for those campers that need extra stimulation and exercise.

Taxi service available for $50 each way or $75 per round trip. Additional mileage fee of $25 each way will apply for Northern Montgomery, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties.

Crate-training to assist housebreaking and separation anxiety needs as well as encourage much needed rest and relaxation between training sessions and playtimes.

Requirements for Campers:

Please make your reservation early if you have non-flexible dates, especially during the summer months and holidays. We occasionally have blackout dates but may be able to accommodate special needs.

All dogs must be up to date on their Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella vaccines. It is recommended that the Bordetella vaccine be given within 6 months of their stay, however we do accept the expiration date that your veterinarian has noted.

All campers must be on current flea and tick control as well as heartworm medication.

We recommend you pack plenty of food for your dog's stay to avoid any upset stomachs with a change of diet. We are happy to accommodate special diets (including RAW), supplements, and medications if needed.

We welcome you to check us out prior to your dog's training, however if possible, we ask that you avoid any visitations while your dog is with us. This can disrupt your dog's training and potentially result in added stress when you depart.
